WyldLife is Young Life's ministry to midle school kids. Because middle school kids are at a different developmental stage than high schoolers and have different needs, we make a subtle distinction from our high school ministry.

The Leaders
A variety of people eager to reach out to middle school kids are serving in Young Life as WyldLife leaders. WyldLife leaders include high school students who are strong in their faith, college students, moms and dads and retirees. Every age group has something to offer middle school kids. We also carefully screen our leaders to ensure they are men and women of integrity, and all volunteers are trained and supervised by staff members.

Contact Work
WyldLife staff and leaders spend countless hours going where kids are to meet them and develop genuine friendships with them. From sporting events and school activities to other hangouts, staff and leaders want to be involved with kids' every day lives.

During club, kids laugh, get involved in skits, play games and hang out with their friends and leaders. Activities are designed for groups, so kids don't feel singled out. The combination of friendships and fun provides an effective platform for leaders to talk about God during a short message at the end of club.

Campaigners is a small-group setting for kids who are ready to learn more about God and grow in their faith. In Campaigners, kids talk about God, study the Bible and its relevance to their lives and pray. Kids are encouraged to be involved with a local church so they will build a strong foundation for their lifelong journey with Christ.

WyldLife staff and Leaders believe that teens are important.  They are making decisions that will influence the rest of their lives.  Staff and Leaders are committed to building relationships with teens and modeling the attractive, unconditional love of Jesus Christ.  They spend countless hours going where teens are to meet them and develop genuine friendships with them.  From sporting events and school activities to other hangouts, Leaders want to be involved with teen's every day lives.  The combination of friendships and fun provides an effective platform for Leaders to share their relationship with Christ and "earn the right to be heard".
